Under The Rain: Episode 7

 Under the Rain

A LOVE STORY

Death is the destiny waiting for every human soul, and no one can tell you for sure when and where your soul is going to abandon your body and leave this world forever, but only someone can at least tell you that your day had not come yet, and this someone is the one who loved you the most ....

Episode 7

“I know a place, big enough for you to be its queen, small enough that won’t fit anyone but you”
Sarah would never forget these words, that moment, when the rain was pouring heavily, when no one was around but she, and the love of her life. She would never forget looking down at his face as he got down on one knee, and romantically proposed to her. She hear these words, she sees that situation, day and night, night and day, every where she went, why wouldn’t she, it had been the moment of her life.
Alone, as she used to be since she heard of that horrible accident, she was staying in her room, locking herself in, or maybe, locking the others out, watching the news channel, which was showing a full coverage and breaking news about the crashed plane, with a noticeable smile on her face.
Despite what she was hearing with her very ears, she was quite sure that that wasn’t the complete truth, she was never believing in the fact that her husband is dead, good for her, that is the main reason why she still alive then.
“Can I come in?”
Sarah heard the excuse coming from behind the door, she knew who it was, and she was really dying to talk to someone, but wasn’t just someone.
“Come in, mum” confirmed Sarah and immediately shut down the TV set.
Mrs. Stewarts, who lost her consciousness after an intense fight with her ex-husband four days earlier, looked confused, when she was witnessing her daughter in law move around her room, with her face softening a noticeable smile. Even though she really wanted to know the reason behind that inappropriate cheer, she didn’t ask her; she thought it might be impolite to ask someone such a question. But on second thought, she went for it.
“You look fine,” asked Mrs. Stewarts, “good for you!”  She could never go further, she just threw her words and waited, maybe her little daughter in law will read between its letters.
“No I am not.”
Mrs. Stewarts was confused, not because of Sarah’s reply – it had actually the opposite effect of confusion – but because she had got two opposite feelings; she was not relieved seeing her not feeling well, still crying and suffering. In the same time, and surprisingly, she found, deep inside herself, a happy feeling that she still sad about losing the only son of the old woman, that Sarah is still remembering her son, that she still in love with him, even after he had gone.
“I miss him,” said Sarah with a begging eyes full of tears,
That was not the first time for Josh to be missed; his so called strong mother used to secretly cry her eyes out every night, when looking at his small sized old picture kept in her wallet.
“Be strong,” replied the woman, “sweetheart”
Sarah did not see Mrs. Stewarts secret crying, but she kind of knew of it. Her mother spread her arms wide, pasted a painful broken smile on her old face, and wordlessly offered to hug her daughter, who didn’t take more than two seconds to accept her offer.
Although their faces were not visible to one another, it was clear for Mrs. Stewarts that Sarah started to cry heavily.
“Calm down, Sweetheart” Sarah loved to be called sweetheart, but a little more from Josh than Mrs. Stewarts.
“He is late.” Said Sarah, continuing her loud crying.
Late? The woman was wondering what she meant by that word; is she waiting for him to come back from his death? Is that why she was smiling a bit earlier? She let it go, but she shouldn’t have.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 ***
What a dramatic word, Late. Josh was always late, it took him 2 years to discover that Sarah’s is insanely in love with him, another 2 years to act on it, and 4 more years to get her engaged. And again here he was, left, and in Sarah’s point of view, late.

Long ago, but in Sarah's point of view, not so long ago, there was some girl named Tiffany, She was tall, brown haired, clean white skinned, and very attractive, she was like a dream to all the guys in the High school. She was attracted to Josh, but he was not attracted to her, neither was he attracted to his future wife, Sarah, who was not thinking of anything but him.

on a class trip, they were all together; Josh, Sarah, and Tiffany. That was not it,indeed, there were many of their friends in that wide, flower collored field, including a skinny lonley girl, who wasn't involved with anyone, she Seemed to be wondering what in god's name was she doing there, in a class trip, with no friends of her own, how sad is she.

Sarah was Iosting after Josh, watching himtalking to his friends, pushing them, Joking with them, it was really obvious for a group of their friends that Sarah was completely obssesed with Josh, but she was right, who would see Josh and don't like him? his carisma, his strong' tall, leaned body, his glamouras smile that works like a sharm on everybody he ever talked to. Yes, Sarah Was not attracted to Josh out of pity, Josh was one of the most popular men in his high school.

Among many girls who were attracted to Josh, there was one more girl, Tiffany, that gorgons, confident, outgoing girl. off course, she did not used to get rejected by any guy before, ever in her life. And given how Confident and self-proud she was, she had no problem deciding to go for it, and ask him out.

"where does he go?" asked Sarah.

"I don't Know," replied one of her friends with a remarkable look, "why? is he your boyfriend?"

Eventhough Sarah did not like her friend's sarcastic question, she looked at her with a 'you are right' look.

"Ok I know, but...."

"No but, Sarah," interrupted her friend, "he is not where you are."

like this phrase being Said from her friend can easily terminate her Secret love to that strong Carismatic man. she pretended to move on, but she did not.

Suddenly, Sarah became missing; no body knew where was she. But instead, her friends started to look for Josh, as they were certain that she will be where is was going to be.And they were right, Sarah was in the Same place with Josh, but there was one more person, Tiffany.

Sarah was watching Josh and Tiffany's kiss with tearful eyes, as if they are dating, and she caught him cheating on her.

she got hugged by her friend from the back, felt like broken, couldn't keep her eyes away from him, but also couldn't Continue looking

at them Kissing.

That was hopless, that was too late, she felt like she missed her chance.

On a second thought, Sarah faced her friends with the truth; that it seemed like Tiffany is the one for him.

"look at them," said Sarah to her friends, "they are so matched, he is gorgous, So if she"

off Course, she was crying while saying these words.

Not so long after that school trip, Sarah Went to the school cafeteria to get a hot drink. Sad as she was, she asked for her Usual hot chocolate, got it, turned her back, and went away.

"Hey," Sarah heard a shout from behind, "young lady." Sarah turned back again to see the one who was talking to her, it was the bartender.

"Sarah?" he asked her

"yes." She replied, and wondered.

" This is for you"

Sarah took the folded up piece of paper, looked at it, then at the bartender strangly, Perhaps she wanted to ask him 'what is this' but he handed it to her, and never waited, Just went to Continue his normal work, he did not seem to Care that much. clearly the bartender was Just a messenger.

Sarah's Curiosty Prevent her from staying any longer without Knowing what is in this little note, she went to d side of the school, just near the football field, leaned her back against the wall, and started to read.

' Meet me in your favorite place after school'

That was it, only a strange line from an anonymus person. Sarah thought that her wondering will akgo away after reading this note, but clearly she was mistaken.

'Who is that person? And how He or she Know where my favorite place is?' Sarah might thought. But did she have any other choice but to go for that and, again follow her Curiosty? No she had no choice.

Under The Rain: Episode 6

Under The Rain

                        A LOVE STORY

Death is the destiny waiting for every human soul, and no one can tell you for sure when and where your soul is going to abandon your body and leave this world forever, but only someone can at least tell you that your day had not come yet, and this someone is the one who loved you the most ....

Episode 6

Lying on the bed, the curtains was shut, the room was totally darkened, everything outside seemed to be silent, no birds were singing, no winds were blowing, no rain was pouring.

That was the situation Sarah found when she woke up, she looked lost, she had extremely no idea what had happened in the last eighteen hours of her life, she didn’t know the reason behind that odd silence, why she was feeling exhausted like that, and why she was sleeping in the guest room instead of her own. Poor little Sarah looked like she didn’t remember anything.

Perhaps her unconscious mind refused to pass that destructive truth on to her conscious mind, perhaps this powerful unconscious mind was afraid of the reaction resulted when that fact is realized by that fragile conscious mind. Perhaps …

A little hard, she tried to get her body up from the bed, she placed her tiny little palms right under her back, and tried to push herself up, but sadly she couldn’t. As much as she was curious to find out what was going on at that very moment, her thin arms had failed to help her to do so. She was too tired to get up.

All the sudden, the guest room’s door was opened by someone, who went closer to Sarah’s body. Sarah looked at that someone, tried to figure out who it was, but the room was dark enough to make that person’s body unrecognized.
“Sarah..”  the person called, went to the lamp’s key, and switched the lights on.
Now, Sarah knew who it was, it was Vickie, her best friend. Sarah’s memory started to refresh, and the events of her worst hours started to rush all the way back to her head; yes, that was Vickie, the one who was holding her the day before, while she was crying and looking at the picture of her husband in the TV screen, who was announced to be burned to death in his airplane.
                                                               ***
She looked astonished, when she opened the door. Not only just astonished, she looked sad, and angry as well. She would never open that door if she knew who was behind.
“I know you are not expecting me,” said the man, who hurt her and her son a lot in their past times, and abandon them for more than nine years, “but you gotta say come in.”
She was taught well how to be nice, she studied etiquette for years when she was in her father’s house, perhaps that was one of the reasons why that man was attracted to her in the first place. She couldn’t hide her feelings though, it was perfectly clear that she hated him, and don’t even want to look at his face. But being nice was just a reflex.
“Come in,” she said.
Looking at his narrow, almond shaped eyes, watching him walking his tall thin body slowly in the hall, and seeing him sitting down like a king, all brought to her mind a lot of images from the past, images that she didn’t want to restore; when he used to order her around all the time while sitting and doing nothing, when he was mean to her and her little son, when he used to ignore her words and walk slowly away from her. That was not all, that was just the small incidents that used to happen every single day.
“You didn’t change,” he said, “you look exactly like before.”
He looked calm, but she was certain that he was not; she knew he was such a depraved snake, which wanders around, looking calm and full, trying to convince the poor rabbits that it didn’t even exist, before jumping up, and out of nowhere, and killing it dead. He was not as much calm as her trying to look, Mrs. Stewarts knew that her ex husband is having some troubles.
“Do I?” asked she, with a sarcastic short laugh.
“Yeah, you do,” he said, “you still look like an old thin dying little creature.”
“You know, Jack” she started, after standing in front of him, “god knows who will die first”
The man returned back her sarcastic laugh with the similar one, “Are you going to kill me or what?”
“But when my time comes, whenever that is going to be,” she continued ignoring his question, “I will be proud of every act of my life.”
His tall, thin, sitting body had suddenly stood up, and his narrow eyes have grew wide and scary.
“proud?”  He shouted, “Are proud of getting your son killed?”
“Getting him?” she asked with a loud wondering tone.
“Aren’t you the one who went along with his stupid childish dreams of being a damn pilot?” he said with a louder tone, “aren’t you the one who hung those aircraft pictures over his bed?”
Tears started to appear in the eyes of the strong woman, she tried to give him a strong, angry look, she did gave him that one, but it was obvious that she was falling apart from the inside.
“Aren’t you the one who convinced him not to listen to my advice?” he went on, “when I suggested proposing to Mr. Grasman daughter, having a business of his own, and live a peaceful life?”
“You were just looking for your own sake,” Screamed Mrs. Stewarts with a crying voice, “you never though of my son”
“You killed my son!”
Suddenly, she found herself pushed on the couch behind her by that cruel man, who did that, instead of taking a good care of his son’s mother and wife.
“I really hope it was you” replied the strong woman, “but it’s over, you missed your chance to implement your unjust plan”
She cried heavily just before saying “Josh is dead now,” it really looked too hard for her to pronounce the word dead after saying her son’s name, “go find another plan to pay your loans and increase your fortune.”
“You deserve to be dead too” he said
“Is that a threat?” she asked with a broken smile, “because you are too weak to do that”
Mrs. Stewarts started to breath fast, and fast.
“Get out!” she screamed, she looked in a serious pain, “now!”
The man started to get scared, she looked like she was about to die, but he wouldn’t care, actually it would be a great thing for him if she died. What really made him leave the place immediately after giving a cold angry look, was the threatening words said, said from behind, not from Mrs. Stewarts, who was about to lose consciousness, but from another person.
“I called the police, they are on there way” said Vickie.
After the leaving of the cruel man, the brave experienced girl ran towards the strong broken woman, to make sure that she is alright. She was not that fine.
“You’re gonna be fine.” Said Vickie after sitting close to her on the couch.

Unser The Rain: Episode 5

    Under The Rain

                        A LOVE STORY

Death is the destiny waiting for every human soul, and no one can tell you for sure when and where your soul is going to abandon your body and leave this world forever, but only someone can at least tell you that your day had not come yet, and this someone is the one who loved you the most ....

  episode 5

You will never imagine what was happening inside that sad little living room; Mrs. Stewarts was laying unconscious on one big black lounge, getting treated an ambulance man and two other assistants. And on the other side of the room, Sarah’s body was hugged by her friend Vickie, who looked like she couldn’t believe what she was seeing at that moment. If Sarah wasn’t hugged and held by her friend, she would have fallen into the floor. She was leaning towards her friend’s body. Yes, she can barely stand.

Sarah’s face was indescribable; she was looking, with starring eyes, at the TV set, resting her chin on the shoulder of her friend, who was holding her tight. Sarah was looking shocked, and her eyes were showing al the fear in the world, she was feeling like she was living in a nightmare, her heart was beating unstably, she was breathing extremely fast, her were not carrying her anymore.

The scene there was horrible and terrifying; an old lady, who had been injured for god knows how long, by an unknown action, was being treated while her blood was covering the arm of the chair, as well as the grey colored carpet, which color was changed to red from the poor old lady’s blood. On the other hand, a lovely little girl was crying in front of the TV set, getting hugged by her best friend, while looking at the worst TV news she could ever imagine she would see; her beloved husband, who had been loved for years before marriage, and who had been her husband for only ten days, was declared dead in an airplane crash near Toronto airport.
Who wanted to be Sarah at this time? She was shocked to death, not giving so much care for her injured, uncurious, mother in law, despite how much she loved her. What a moving and touching moment that was, all of them had a lot to say, so many words are to be said inside this sad living room, but they all remain silent.

“Do you have any idea what had happened?” Asked the ambulance man
Vickie, sadly, pressed her lips together and nodded her head no.
She didn’t think of anything right now, she didn’t ask herself how and where she is going to live, or how lonely she would be, she didn’t think of any of that, she was still shocked, she still couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Yes, it the toughest situation anyone can ever get, especially to a young inexperienced lover like Sarah.

“The black recording tape which was acquired an hour earlier by the exploration and investigation teams, was only containing voices of anonymous persons giving direct instructions to open the emergency exists of the crashed plane,” Said the announcer of the TV breaking new.

“The crash is likely to be resulted from a fuel leakage or a loss of control while maneuvering,” She continued, “And as there were no survivors from the crash, no accident report is expected to be delivered to Toronto airport in the near future.”

Sarah was looking at her husband’s picture with tears filling her eyes, yeah she should be, she didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye for the last time, she never imagined when he was saying goodbye to her two days earlier, that this was going to be the last goodbye.

Sarah started to feel week in the knees. Apparently, she couldn’t help seeing the word dead right next to her husband’s picture any longer, she began to lose consciousness, her eyes were going narrower,  her right hand had fallen out from her friend’s shoulder.

Oh, that is right, now she knew what happened to her mother in law, and how she had got herself hurt in the head; she must have seen that shocking news, and just like her, Mrs. Stewarts couldn’t keep herself standing, have fallen down, and hit her head against the chair or something like that. This confident, strong lady couldn’t keep herself conscious, how could Sarah do?
No, she Couldn’t! Sarah, the kind, innocent, pure lover, who had no life wishes but to marry Josh, had fallen unconscious in the arms of her friend.

Under the Rain: episode 4

       Under The Rain

                        A LOVE STORY

Death is the destiny waiting for every human soul, and no one can tell you for sure when and where your soul is going to abandon your body and leave this world forever, but only someone can at least tell you that your day had not come yet, and this someone is the one who loved you the most ....

episode 4

Sarah awoke alone, she realized how it felt when she is apart from Josh, which is smoething she would never wish. Off course at that time, she didn’t know that the last time she saw him, was just the last time she was going to see him ever again.

“Morning, Mrs. Stewarts” said Sarah
The old lady sitting on the big lounge in the living room smiled when she realized that the lovely  bride was up, “just call me mom” she whispered with her fine sense of humor that use to make her daughter in law always smile.
“Good Morning, mum” Sarah said happily to Josh’s mother.
Yeah, she was really happy to have had a new mother four years after the death of her real, especially a one like Mrs. Stewarts, Sarah really and truly loved her, as she was the main reasons of Sarah and Josh’s marriage. She was the one who challenged her husband, Josh’s father, and got them married, which she knew that it was the kind of action that would end her own marriage, and make her a divorced old lady.
Even after he divorced her, left the house, and threatened of a soonest rough revenge, she was still happy seeing the peaceful life her son and the love of his life were living, which she was the main contributor in.
As much as she was very kind and caring, She can be very tough when it comes to touching the well-being of her only son, she didn’t listen to her husband who wanted his son to marry one rich guy’s daughter to get rid of his debts, and maybe get more rich, this was why Sarah loved her new mother.
Like father like son; that was untrue, Josh was not anything like his father, his father was very insecure, he was a tall old idiot who don’t think of anything but money. But, on the other hand, Josh was a great man who was brought up by his kind, confident, strong mother.

“Your Friend is here,” Said Mrs. Stewarts, “She is in there,” She pointed her finger to the other living room.
“Who? Vickie?”
“Well, Who else!” replied the old lady with a sarcasting tone.
The little temporary depressed kitten suddenly looked cheered up, why wouldn’t she? Her best friend had just arrived after more than two weeks without hanging out.  Sarah, complimentary, laughed at her new mother’s little joke and ran down the living room to meet her friend.
Vickie was a thin average tall redhead, very white and pale skinned with naturally red lips. She got up when she noticed her friend, went straight to give her a little hug. They held hands and sat together on the living room big sofa.
“So,” said Vickie, “how was the honey moon?”
“amazing.”
“Off course it was,” Smiled Vickie, “you are marrying and ex army tiger.”
Sarah laughed hard at her friend’s speech, she really seemed like she missed her Vickie, but she didn’t miss her impolite talk.
“Aha,” said Sarah, “here it comes”
“This is clearly why you didn’t throw a bachelorette party.”
“Stop it,” Sarah whispered in a smiley face, “you’ll never change,”

Even though Vickie sometimes seemed like she is not capable of talking about anything but sex, Sarah loved her very much and thought she was lucky to run into her one day. Vickie also was thinking of Sarah as the best friend anyone can get.
A couple of hours would pass like a little moment in the light of this pleasant conversation, and that what had just happened. They were both very happy, even after Vickie started telling her feelings about marriage; that ‘marriage sucks’ and ‘sex rules’. And despite how extremely they are disagreeing with each other, they both were very happy and laughing a lot.
“That’s enough outta you.” Said Sarah Joking
Vickie’s face started to look serious, “I want to talk to Mrs. Stewarts again”
“Sure, she is upstairs,” replied Sarah, “follow me”
“So,” Sarah started to chat while accompanying Vickie to the upper story, “are you gonna be someone’s wife? Ever?”
“Lay off please, you pretty bride!” replied Vickie
Maybe the conversation was getting a little serious this time, but they couldn’t stop laughing, and joking. But eventually, they did!  What they saw when they walked through the upper room had forced them to stop laughing.
How terrifying was that for these two young girls, to see that old lady lying on the floor, unconscious, and a lot of blood was covering her grey colored hair.
“Mrs. Stewarts.” Sarah screamed loudly, and ran towards the poor unconscious lady. Vickie followed her after staring at that scene for a second, “what happened?” she asked
“She must fell off her chair, and hit her head against the floor or something,”
“Call an ambulance” Sarah Screamed again.
Vickie ran down the stairs, she didn’t care that she dropped one heel, she didn’t turn to wear it back, instead, she speeded up and reached the phone.
“Hello, we need an ambulance here right away” she said in a scared tone, “District 16 32A North York” she continued.
“Make it fast please,” she added, hung up and ran upstairs to see what had gone new.
When she walked through that damn room again, she become more scared and terrified than the first time, because she saw Sarah’s eyes had gone very wide, her lips were further apart and it was like she had drowned in her own tears, she was crying heavily that her cheeks become black as her eyeliners and makeup all had ruined.
From the look on Sarah’s face, Vickie knew that Mrs. Stewarts was dead, she was about to cry, but before her eye shade a tear, she looked at her beloved friend, who can barely stand.
"Is she... " said Vickie.
she came closer to her body, but very slowly, Vickie was scared to death.
"wait a minute, she is breathing." said vickie to Sarah, "Then why are you .. "
Before she finish her question, vickie's eyes suddenley settled on the television set, which was opened by Mrs. Stewarts in the first place.
“OH MY GOD!” Vickie Screamed loudly, “OH MY GOD!”
She started to cry very loud, she looked in a real pain, she felt her knees are weak, she realized that it wasn’t Mrs. Stewarts who was dead, it was her best friend new husband, Josh!
